  1. I have missed so much of your photography recently. I’ve traveled back through time to this wonderful bird and brick and I’ve enjoyed every one. You have a fine touch Cara.

  2. Thanks so much, John, so good to hear from you – I haven’t been posting much recently, as I’ve been concentrating on finishing some illustrations. The most recent photographs were taken some time ago; I hardly ever put up old photographs, but these were to celebrate that we are going back to Liddesdale for a week. I am taking my camera, so there will be some new photographs. Nearly ready to start setting up my book, but am looking forward to time away from the studio and just walking in the unspoiled countryside of hill farms over the other side of the Borders. Amazing how different hill farming country is from arable land; the wildlife is so much richer where the fields are rougher….
